  • 100/100 Shoot

    100 Clays and 100 Pheasants

We had our “100/100 Shoot.”  The weather wasn’t so good this weekend.  There were 11 shooters that came.  We did the Continental Pheasant Shoot at 2:00pm, and shot a round of Sporting Clays.  Those that made it, enjoyed themselves.  We missed those that couldn’t make it.

  • Lewis Scoring System

The “Lewis” scoring system allows shooters to compete with shooters close to their own abilities.

After everyone is done shooting, the competitor’s scores are listed in the overall order in which they finished. This list will be divided into thirds into “A”, “B” and “C” classes. The top shooter in each class will get an award.  Competitiors have no way of knowing what the cutoff score for class B and C will be until the scores are totaled.  This eliminates “sandbagging”.
